Great information. I wish people would try these non-invasive methods that truly work before opt-ing for surgery.

What I’m not clear on is whether inversion truly permits decompression of the spine. Some experts dismiss inversion as a means to achieve decompression altogether. The most common argument specifies back muscles will resist gravity as a protective measure. This defensive muscular spasm disallows the spine to stretch significantly as a means to promote decompression. Id like to learn more. Thanks.

Can this help with sharp pain. because when i bend backwards even just a little bit then go foward, i suddenly feel a really sharp and painful feeling to my lower back area. I know this has to do with me starting contortion at a late age, so would the inversion therapy help??

I kept feeling like if I were to hang from a bar and have someone yank on my feet, my back would just go back into place. Problem is my hands only have so much endurance.
Why didn’t I think of just hanging upside down!? I’m gonna try it ASAP.
If I were to go to the park to the monkey bars, will hanging by the backs of my knees engage too many muscles?
Or should I just find a way to tie my feet to a pull up bar?
… I’ll try both and if I’m not paralyzed I’ll come back and let you know.

lol, I wouldnt recommend trying to hang from the monkey bars unless you are pretty fit…
Inversion tables are worth the money, especially if it relieves your pain?

it is something you would have to ease in to, little by little. It is not the same as bending backgrounds….

A recent study bu New Castle University found that inversion therapy reduced the need for back surgery by 75%!

Putting things into perspective… taking the pressure off gives your nerves a break and allows the healing process to move forward.
Just a few minutes can make a big difference.
Drugging ones self does nothing to fix, it only depletes further vitamins & minerals that could be utilized for damage control.
Giving the body what it needs for repair is key.

Chiropractors get a bad rap from modern Quackademia. Don’t buy it.

i just ordered my teeter inversion table yesterday. i’m so tired of my lower back pain. chiropractors actually hurt my neck one time and i was done.

best of luck, please let us know how it goes. We have a few other videos on how to use them in case you need further assistance…

Kcannone, can you elaborate on issues with ball socket joints ie knees and hips which are designed to work with gravity and not be pulled on? My chiropractor mentioned this and he let me borrow his table that you can hang by your hip area instead of full length. I would love to try a full size table like the one in this video but I’m concerned about long term effects of my knees and hips which I don’t have any trouble with. I’m only 32 so I want to help my back, but not introduce other problems

What If Someone Has A Back Issue, Not Just Pain? Like Scoliosis, Or A Deteriorating disc? Would The Table Help With The Issue, Or Just Make It Worse?
October 30th, 2009 at 12:05 am
Inversion Therapy will not fix, cure or prevent Scoliosis, that said, inversion can help with the management of the symptoms and it will help create more space in between your vertebra which in turn will help increase fluids into the disc and help hydrate the disc…
We do not believe that it will make a condition worse, that said, please use the table according to the guidelines…
